4H Model Rocket Workshop

Join the Star Splitters 4-H Club in a fun program to build and launch your own model rocket!
The June build sessions will be at the Manitowoc County Office Complex:
• Wednesday, June 5, 6-8 p.m.
• Monday, June 10, 6-8 p.m.
The build sessions are not mandatory this year. We will have the rocket kits available for
pickup on the build nights at the MCOC. The launch day will be on Saturday morning, June
22 (time announced on registration form).
The program is for ages 7 and up. Skill level 1 costs $7; level 2, $10. Additional motors
may be available for purchase for extra launches. We will also be willing to launch your
homemade rockets if you bring your own motors.
The workshop includes:
• 2 building sessions
• Skill levels 1 and 2 rockets
• Launch (with larger demonstrations)
• Drag races, paint job and building competitions
Friends and family are welcome! If you have signed up for the Aerospace project, you
can enter your rocket in the County Fair!  If you have any questions, please email
